Father’s Day
fun in At-Bristol
15 June 2003
Forget socks, hankies and ties this Father’s Day, why not give your
dad a real treat and head to At-Bristol.
If he’s a fitness freak, give him an action-packed trip to
Explore.
See who can build the quickest bridge, take a turn at the human
hamster wheel, race in the pulley cages and hold a virtual volleyball
tournament with all the family. If detection is more his thing, let
him try his hand at forensic investigation to solve the crime in Explore’s latest special exhibition,
Whodunit?
You can give your dad some inspiration for the garden and get back to
nature in Wildwalk’s botanical house. Take a journey through the
steamy rainforest full of exotic flowers and plants, dodge the living
birds and butterflies and come face to face with Wildwalk’s collection
of mini-beasts. For a really memorable Fathers Day present, why not
adopt your dad’s favourite creature or plant and help fund it’s upkeep
for the year.
Don’t miss amazing 2D and 3D films in
IMAX®, the West’s largest cinema
screen. Get transported right into the heart of the action - feel the
force of a rocket launch, explore a rainforest from a bugs eye view or
meet Bart Simpson in jaw-dropping close up.
When you need a break, take your old man to Wildwalk’s family café and
try out its delicious menu and affordable prices, there’s no better
place on the Harbourside for some great lunchtime grub.
