Spider-Man 2 crawls onto the IMAX screen for October half term
Running from 21 October 2004

At-Bristol is delighted to announce that Spider-Man 2: The IMAX Experience 2D will be swinging its way onto the giant screen IMAX® Theatre At-Bristol from 21 October, making a perfect family adventure over half term.

Using revolutionary IMAX DMR (digital re-mastering) technology, Spider-Man fans can experience this critically acclaimed blockbuster sequel with unparalleled image and sound quality. At ten times larger than in regular cinemas, it is even more immersive, bringing a whole new spin to the drama.

In Columbia Pictures’ Spider-Man® 2, two years have passed since Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) walked away from his long-time love Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) and decided to take the road to responsibility as Spider-Man. Peter must face new challenges as he struggles to cope with "the gift and the curse" of his powers while balancing his dual identities as the elusive superhero Spider-Man and life as a college student. The relationships Peter holds most dear are now in danger of unravelling as he clashes with the powerful, multi-tentacled villain “Doc Ock” (Alfred Molina).

Simon Jones, At-Bristol’s Marketing Manager says, ’ Spider-Man 2 is the latest blockbuster film to get the IMAX treatment and the results are truly mind-blowing. The added drama, emotion and excitement creates a massive wow-factor and the film is definitely set to be a big success.’

Tickets for this high-flying adventure cost £8.50 for adults, £5.50 for children, £6.50 for concessions and £24 for a family ticket. Call 0845 345 1234 for advance tickets and for the full programme of screenings
