At-Bristol sends Christmas cheer with Free Day!
At-Bristol is sending its warmest season’s greetings with
a free entry to Explore, the popular hands-on science centre, for everyone
this 15 December. To spread this Christmas cheer, Explore’s iconic
Planetarium, which is commonly described as the ‘silver ball’ on
Millennium Square, will be wrapped up with a giant red ribbon and bow.
The production of the decorative ribbon that measures 40 metres in length
is sponsored in kind by Gala Casino, who will also be sending a team of
volunteers to help with the face-painting activity during the open day.
“This is Explore’s Christmas gift to the community and to all visitors to
the city! While celebrating the festive period, we hope to send our thanks
to the public for their huge support over the years. We are also
celebrating an exciting time in Explore, especially with the recent launch
of its two brand new major exhibitions, Inside DNA and LoveSport, which
marks a major milestone in our achievements.” says Donna Speed, Commercial
Director, At-Bristol.
“We hope the public could make full use of this unique opportunity to
enjoy themselves with their families and friends while looking forward to
Christmas and the New Year. We have a host of exciting activities lined-up
for the free entry day - they include face-painting, the ‘Dinosaur
Unearthed!’ show as well as the brand new winter night sky show at the
Planetarium.” says Donna.
The free entry to Explore is free to everyone on 15 December, doors open
from 10am to 6pm.
