Press and Marketing Executive (Ref: PME)
Salary dependent on skills and experience
Full time, 5 days in 7
Reports to:
Head of Marketing
Purpose:
To contribute to the ongoing success of At Bristol as an educational
charity through supporting the Head of Marketing to deliver At Bristol's
Marketing and Public Relations strategy.
Skills and personal attributes:
Able to work effectively with customers as well as staff at all levels,
as well as press, media and customer relations
Confident and approachable manner, a creative enabler who can run with
ideas and put them into practice
Accurate, attentive to detail whilst under pressure
Tenacious and resilient to those who resist or block change
Ability to work to tight deadlines
IT literate - including Media Disk, MS Office, media contact databases
and monitoring systems
Occasionally work out of hours and be willing to travel for events when
necessary
Able to manage own workload and work on own initiative as well as act as
part of a team
An understanding and appreciation of our aims and charitable status

Brand and Advertising Executive (Ref: BAE)

Event Support Staff (Ref: ESS)
£5.79/hr increasing to £5.96/hr after a successful
probationary period
Flexible hours to include early mornings, late evenings and weekends
Since opening in July 2000 At-Bristol has established itself as one of
the most prestigious corporate hospitality venues in the South West.
At-Bristol offers several unique event spaces and caters for meetings,
conferences and dinner dances from as few as two or three people to a
maximum of 7000, offering clients exceptional facilities, flexibility
and value.
We are looking to recruit Event Support Staff to join the Corporate
Events Team at At-Bristol to deliver professional high quality events
to our corporate visitors.
Acting as logistical support staff to the Corporate Events Team, the
role will involve the preparation and breakdown of room layouts,
running a cloakroom, and other duties as they arise during events. The
role of the Event Support staff is crucial as often you will be the
first point of contact when corporate guests arrive, meeting and
welcoming them to our venue.
You should have experience of working in a customer focused
environment and be passionate about delivering high quality corporate
events. The role requires flexible working, to include early mornings,
later evenings and weekends.
