Find a friend and try this game.

Cut a piece of paper so it is about the size of a £5 note (13cm x 7cm).

Hold the piece of paper right at the top. Get your friend to prepare to catch the paper by holding their hand level with the bottom of the paper.
Now let go and see if your friend can catch the paper.

Person 1 holds the paper here.
Person 2 gets ready to catch the paper here.

Can you catch the paper before it falls through your fingers?

Person 1 lets go of the paper.
Person 2 catches the paper as quickly as they can without moving their hand from this position.

It depends on how the paper is dropped, but most people don't catch it.
