LoveSport is everything that sport should be – accessible,
challenging, healthy and fun and most of all – for everyone!
Get active, and try your hand at a range of sports in our new
exhibition - why not shoot for goal in Penalty Pressure,
slam-dunk in Hectic Hoops basketball or Go the Distance in the Tour
de France?
For those preferring a less-energetic visit, get a closer look at
some amazing inventions in the sports world that have helped to
produce record-breaking competitors!
With simulators and interactive displays, LoveSport leads you
through an exploration of sport in the 21st century!

Sport challenges our minds and bodies and increases fitness while
pushing technology to its limits. Five themed areas lead the visitor
through an exploration of the sporting body and mind, and
investigate the latest sports technology and its impacts on sports
performance.
In The sporting body, visitors can test their co-ordination,
balance and strength, discovering how different sports require the
use of different muscle groups. |
 |
 |
The sporting mind delves into the depths of your
brain to examine concentration and reaction - how focused and quick to
respond are you? Then test your mighty muscles, suppleness and stamina
in Fit for sport - an investigation of the body's performance.
Sports technology focuses on a range of cutting-edge techniques,
from psychology, nutrition, drugs and equipment to developments for
paralympians. In the final section, Over to you, compare your
scores with other visitors to the exhibition and find out what you can
do to get active in your area! |
Full of interactive exhibits and physical activities, LoveSport
caters for all ages and abilities.
