Opening hours:

At-Bristol is open every day (except Christmas day). Educational rates and services are available weekdays in term-time only from 10:00 until 17.00. We recommend that visits to Explore and Wildwalk should last about 2 hours each. IMAX® films are every 75 minutes from 10.15. Additional activities including a Planetarium show can also be booked.

Admission prices:

Click here for current educational rates. Educational rates are available to formal educational groups of 10 or more. Educational groups will include schools, home education, social services, Brownies, Guides, Scouts etc. - but not those primarily connected with leisure.

Accompanying adults:

For every ten students, one accompanying adult goes free. For groups with children under seven years old and those with special educational needs, for every five students one adult goes free. Additional accompanying adults are charged at the student rate.

Planning a visit:

Teachers planning a visit to one of our workshops are entitled to:

• Free admission to At-Bristol prior to the visit. Simply show our admissions staff a letter of identity, printed on your school's headed paper.
  
  
• The opportunity to view an IMAX® film free of charge. Please book this in advance by telephoning 0845 345 1235.

We also run regular Teacher preview evenings - informal occasions in which teachers can visit the attractions and find out more about the workshops we offer. Contact our Schools' Liaison Officer on 0117 9157134 for more details.
