Inspiring Interactions for BME educators
This professional development project was designed in response to the underachievement of BME primary students in Bristol. We worked with 20 mainstream school teachers and 20 supplementary school leaders in a three day professional development conference, and held a follow-up celebratory day. Inspiring Interactions, was a follow-up project to Bright Sparks - training course for Supplementary school leaders held in 2008, involving five supplementary schools and their students with the aim to improve teaching and learning in science through building the skills and confidence of the leaders. Both projects were funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.Science Fact
