At-Bristol is linked to the Harbourside waterfront and city centre by a series of magnificent public squares and open spaces. Cafés, bars and promenades offer plenty of places to sit, relax and enjoy the views. These spaces feature magnificent public artworks such as beautiful water and light features, sculptures and landscaping, which can be enjoyed 24 hours a day. The open spaces provide a stimulating starting point for a day out in At-Bristol, and are a delightful place to relax before exploring Bristol’s historic harbourside and other cultural attractions such as the Watershed and Arnolfini.

The open spaces have been carefully planned to include unique artworks and areas suitable for live entertainment - such as street performers - while complementing the rich architectural heritage of the site.

The innovative Explore building incorporates a listed railway goods shed, built at the end of the 19th Century.

The Public Art At-Bristol has been themed around reflection and exploration to complement the rich architectural heritage of the site and to extend the themes of Explore by encouraging people to look at the world in a new way. By animating the public spaces the Public Art helps to create a unique urban space.
