Space Shuttle
NASA uses the Space Shuttle to launch astronauts and satellites into space. The Shuttle takes off like a rocket, flies around the earth as a spaceship, and lands like an airplane. On some missions, the astronauts release satellites that stay behind in space, or they might do scientific experiments inside the Shuttle. Click here to find out more about the Shuttle.

Food For Space Flight
Astronauts have to eat some "strange" things when in space. Click here to find out what they eat.
