Stirring stuff was supported by GlaxoSmithKline and equipment was provided by Amersham Biosciences.

Stirring stuff was an innovative series of workshops, shows and special events that successfully raised the profile of science and scientists. It provided an exciting supplement to the National Curriculum and encouraged students to consider science as a career opportunity. Stirring stuff also made modern science accessible to the general public in a fun environment allowing discussion of many of the ethical dilemmas posed by recent scientific advances.
